The wedding ceremony was hosted on July 8, 2012 at the ALUVA municipal town hall, Aluva Ernakulum dist. Kerala.

The fortunate couples tied the knot in the presence of Honorable Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Mr. Vayalar Ravi, who inaugurated the function and felicitated the couples with garlands. The 11 couples were sanctified in holy matrimony with the blessings of the dignitaries present, for continued love and companionship in years to come by performing a traditional ‘taali’ tying ritual.
